Visit Hillsboro's Historic Main Street District

Hillsboro's downtown courthouse, shops, restaurants and businesses remind us of a time when life was a little kinder and slower paced.  Most of the downtown buildings are historic, and built in the 1800's when the railroads came to town.

Today, you can enjoy a leisurely walk and visit shops and restaurants that surround the Hill County courthouse.   Downtown has two museums, two art galleries, two large event venues, and an eclectic mix of businesses and friendly people.
